Whose your candidate

I am reposting this discussion. Who is your presidential candidate? Mccain? Obama? Clinton?

at this point? i really just wish the drama would end and we could focus on the actual election...regardless of who gets the democratic nomination...my vote is with barack obama and it has been ever since kucinich didn't make it...but if i ruled the world, i'd make dennis kucinich president.

I agree with everything you just said. I hate that the democratic party is just fighting with each other, tearing apart the hope we all had at the beginning of all this. They are their own worst enemies. I honestly wish that Hillary would just get off her high horse, step back and lets move on to a new era.

i think it is interesting that i know more gay white men who are in favor of hilary and more lesbians (of color and white) who favor obama.

i do not support clinton because i do not think her stance on the war, her involvement with corporate business, and her ability to truly morph herself into whatever she needs to be just to get the vote is very admirable.

i support obama because i believe that, even though he may not have a definite plan of action, he wants to create change and the fact that he doesn't have anything set in stone just means he is willing to examine issues from multiple levels and perspectives and going from there. i, personally, feel that that is just what our country needs, and is more feminist than clinton ever could be or will be.

i want a feminist in office and if that person so happens to have a penis, then so be it. but i refuse to believe that a person who comes out of such 'experience' as clinton could ever be any better than the current administration. we need someone different and we need to end the era of bush-clinton-bush-clinton.

the united states has had enough nepotism. the time for obama is now.
